Renowned for having the largest population of burrowing owls in Florida, you might see a burrow marked off with four PVC pipes or catch glimpses of these small owls all around the Cape. The annual Burrowing Owl Festival in February offers tours of burrows, special activities for kids, and informational sessions about this special bird and other important species in Southwest Florida. With more than 90 miles of interconnected biking routes, Cape Coral has been designated a Bicycle Friendly Community by the League of American Bicyclists. Pool The pool heater is set to approximately 85°F (winter months only) and should not be adjusted. The pool pump and heater run from about 9 AM to 5 PM.
